It was a very warm festival that I participated in online as being part of the pandemic year. But even with that, I was able to be part of group meetings that got all the filmmakers together for the festival. I got to make some connections and got to watch some amazing films at the festival. The festival team too was very good at communicating at each stage of the festival. Overall a very welcoming and warm film festival.

Even thou I wasn't an award winner, the organizers of the festivals were extremely kind and communicative with me, and they let me take part of the activities, great staff and great films.

  • Heimo Aga

Kudos to Stephane and his team for running South East Asia's foremost documentary film festival; we regret we couldn't be there in person due to the pandemic, but they did their best to make it feel like it with extensive Zoom Q&As, online events and VOD screenings. Last not least, thanks for giving our chili documentary "HOT!" the award for best food documentary :-)
