BIRDFACE
A demonic bird of prey hits a motorcyclist in the face while he’s riding and now, they must work together to satisfy the creature’s need to kill.
After waking up on his couch following a motorcycle accident, a young man finds a bird in his house. The bird begins to speak and promptly explains that it flew into the man’s head while he was riding, and that it needs his help to kill people if they both want to live. After reluctantly agreeing, they both head out to find their first victim.

Alex Sam (she/her) is an Aboriginal Australian animator, character designer and visual development artist. Her love for animation started with a small Nintendo DSi application called Flipnote Studio that allowed users to animate to audio. It's been over 10 years since the discovery and she has been doing it ever since.
Currently an RMIT graduate who wants to share her film "BIRDFACE" to the world!
BIRDFACE was the best excuse to make something weird and funny that an audience with similar taste or even new viewers really enjoy. The main genre's for it being horror and comedy, my longest lasting favourite types of media, was something I had never tried writing a script for so it was a great learning experience. I also really enjoy creating fun and interesting character designs and this film was the best opportunity to go in depth with that for the first time.
