BEACHES OF FIRE, POETRY BÁRBARA DÉLANO
In October 1996, Chilean writer Bárbara Délano boards a plane from Lima, Peru to Santiago, Chile. 60 kilometers from the east coast, she suffers a fatal accident where the poet loses her life along with the entire crew, her body was never found. Among her belongings repatriated from her from Mexico, her place of residence is a computer where there are writings of the posthumous book "Playas de fuego", surprisingly in hers she writes the premonition of her death. This choreographic film inspired by Barbara's poetry delves into an internal journey finding her own renewing and expressionist body language, the exploration of free movement, the dynamic interaction with space and the possibility of bodily self-expression.
