Azwan is a Chilean/Malaysian, LA filmmaker by way of Amherst, MA. His most recent short film FARMER ED is a 5-time festival winner and has been an official selection of 3 Academy Award Qualifying Festivals. Azwan got his start at the local public access station (Amherst Media) where he developed skits, short films and music videos. Azwan eventually moved to LA to pursue a career in music but found his creative calling in film. Azwan now works as a producer/editor for IndieWire.
