Aziz Almughrbi, A young passionate filmmaker. Born and raised in Saudi Arabia in 1995. Grew up in a family that, none of whom chose to pursue an expressive and adventures career like filmmaking. But that didn’t hold me from pursuing what I wanted to be. So, In 2014 I packed up my luggage and dreams and left to the United State. Fast forward to 2018 and I’m an honor bachelor degree graduate in filmmaking from the New York Film Academy, Los Angeles. In the past seven years I have had so much passion and admiration for creative and artistic motion pictures in all forms and genres. Whether films, TV shows, music videos, commercials or even anime. Directors like Martin Scorsese, Krzysztof Kieślowski, Emir Kusturica, Francis Coppola, and Edgar Wright blew my mind at a young age. And helped expand my horizon when it comes to films. But the it wasn’t until I enrolled in film school that I started to become well-educated in creative script writing for films and TV. And learned how real movies are made. From producing, directing, production design, editing, and so on. I directed around 11 short films, of different genres and styles but mostly comedies. The funniest of which in my opinion is “Invitation”.
