Azadi_End the Siege

This documentary will cover the recent Kashmir conflict from 2019, in which India revoked the special status of Kashmir as stated in Article 370 of the Constitution of India and placed the citizens of Kashmir on military lockdown and communications blackout. The lockdown began August 5, 2019 and is currently ongoing and in place today. This project will briefly introduce the Pakistan - India - Kashmir conflict from 2019 and will cover the “free Kashmir/anti-Modi” protest held on September 22, 2019 in front of NRG Stadium. The protest collided the same day and location as Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Howdy Modi” rally and visit to Houston, TX.
