Awsat
Awsat is a 360-short dance film that takes the viewers into a world where woman and goddess were one. Located in the middle of the performance, the viewer is a representation of society that has been witnessing the story of middle eastern women and has a chance to turn the story around by following the movement and poetic experience that shapes the narrative.

Eid is a performing artist and digital narrator/creator. Her focus is on Middle Eastern youth and women’s empowerment. She believes that proper representation within artistic projects makes the world more aware of social and political issues. Eid is also involved in theater and academic dancing with a focus on contemporary and jazz dance. She holds a BA in Communication Arts and an MA in Digital Narratives, where both of her theses tackled topics related to Middle Eastern women and theories of representation.
