Awfully Nice

Hitchhiking is a dangerous business, especially when two lonely serial killers get into the same car. Jason (Hervé Toure) and Garrett (Johan B. B. Nielsen) both strive for greatness and recognition. One night, their paths cross, and they soon find that they have a lot of similar interests, but what will happen once they realize how much they really have in common?
A short about hitchhiking, recognition, and the influences of today's media.

Director Statement

I have wanted to make this movie ever since I had a discussion about the dangers of both hitchhiking and of picking hitchhikers up. The idea of these kinds of “paradoxes” have always interested and amused me. Furthermore, I want to shine a light on our society nowadays, which seems to have an unstoppable hunger for sensationalism. It is not enough to simply be a killer, no you must be even more gruesome than the last one.
