Avoy

A student named Zawad, from a middle class family, was an admission examinee for the medical admission test.
But even though he gave effort he didn't manage to get a chance to study in a medical college.
The story goes on, with Zawad and his family being shocked with this outcome and the pressure coming from Zawad's surrounding people.

This story basically is related to the life of all the students from Bangladesh, who have attended or will attend the admission exams in the University admission season.

Director Biography - Anubrata Nandi

Anubrata Nandi was born on August 11, 2000 in Tangail, Bangladesh. He started school in Sylhet, because his father was a teacher there. Then he moved to Dhaka at the age of Twelve. He got interested in making films and acting since high school. “Avoy (2020)” was his directorial debut. He has made “Gontobbo (2020)" and “Shotta/The Entity (2021)” since then. All of his works so far is a students’ project.
He is currently a student of honours first year in Jahangirnagar University in Bangladesh.

Director Statement

This is my first work as a director. A scream from me on our education system of this country.
