Refath Bari is a Physics student at the City College of New York (CCNY) with a 3.95 GPA. He conducts research on water worlds with Dr. Amit Levi. He has published a paper on the Action Principle in The Physics Teacher, a peer-reviewed AAPT journal. His paper on a new law for relativistic reflection is under peer review at The European Journal of Physics. Previously, he served as an AI Researcher at the Meriles Lab at CCNY under Prof. Carlos Meriles, creating Convolutional Neural Networks to denoise NV-center images. He has also written a pedagogical paper, "A Bridge from Maxwell to Einstein," with former Columbia Professor and CUNY Graduate Center Deputy Director Daniel Kabat. He is a contributor to The Washington Examiner and author of the book "55 Days in Dharavi".
This is a film nearly four years in the making, as that is when I began corresponding with Prof. Avi Loeb (in January 2020). Our conversation spans from Extraterrestrial Life to Black Holes to Exoplanets. Enjoy.
