Director Biography - Telma João Santos

Telma João Santos is an independent artist and researcher. She holds two PhDs, one in Mathematics and one in Performative Arts, taught for 20 years at the University of Évora. She works mainly as a solo performance artist, but as an empathic person, she cannot escape collaborations with several artists. She is interested in the nuances in between self presentations and self representations as tools to create landscapes surpassing binary notions of being-in-the-world.
