The Indian born director of "The Aum's Law" studied film in Tempe, Arizona and made this film while working 60 hour weeks in a stressful desk job.
If you look at the symbol right in the center of our poster, written in Devanāgari as ॐ. Aum is pronounced in three sounds A (aaa) , U (ooooo) and M (mmmmm) and signifies Right (A) and
Left (U) Sympathetic Nervous Systems (SNS) and (M) Parasympathetic Nervous System.
Right SNS (controlled by Left part of brain) looks after the actional aspect whereas the left SNS looks after the emotional aspect of human beings.
Hindus believe that as creation began, the divine, all encompassing consciousness took the form of the first and original vibration manifesting as the sound “AUM”.
So in crude terms AUM is considered to be the first sound made by our Universe when the big bang happened.
For me it symbolizes a new beginning, prosperity, the sound of
calmness and happiness.
“The Aum’s Law” as the title, signifies the IMPORTANCE of these
aspects on sociological, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cosmic and scientific level.
The story is about our leads struggling journey, to master these phenomena, his never ending pursuit for this hypothetical state of equilibrium, which is to be said, if achieved, is supposed to put a person in the state of eternal happiness.
There will be no questions left to be answered, no place left to
go, no curiosities left to quench and no desires left for any social norms.
Moreover, the title itself has a hidden indication towards the unit of resistance in electricity (which is indicated by the outer symbol, the ohm (symbol: Ω)), symbolizing the global resistance in our societies (eastern or western) towards acceptance and tolerance of the unusual.
