Deborah is an Award-Winning Screenwriter/scriptwriter, Comedy Writer, Freelance.
Content Writer and Playwright who creates magic with words and media.
During the last two years, she has won thirty-six awards for her scripts, which has
helped to propel her scriptwriting/screenwriting career. Her main goal is to break
through and get her work on TV screens, in cinemas, and theatres everywhere.
Her biggest wish is to make a massive difference in the world with her stories and
scripts, changing one life at a time.
Deborah has previously worked in production and post-production positions for
Endemol/Hit Entertainment on the following children’s shows: Art Attack and
Nickelodeon UK on the following shows: Bedtime Stories, Jimmy Jammers, and
children’s promos on location. She has also worked as an Assistant Producer,
Producer and Director on several short films spanning twenty years.
During the last year, she has been busy writing two short films titled ‘Ruby Miller’ and
‘I Got Your Back’, both green-lit and scheduled to go into production later this year.

(Audience Sitcom Series- Pilot episode and Ep2), ‘The Spirits of the Mill - Auction
Room’ (Drama Series - Pilot episode), ‘The Invaluable’ (Comedy Drama Pilot
episode) and ‘Let the Kid’s Eat Cake’ – Comedy drama pilot episode).
In addition, Deborah has also been building a broad portfolio of Comedy Dramas,
Sketch Shows, Short films, TV Drama Series, and plays.
Deborah is also a published Author, Poet, Blogger, Filmmaker, Photographer, and
former News Columnist. with a large following in the UK, USA and globally. She also
appears on the radio in the USA every two months, publicising her work and raising
awareness for homelessness.
In 2017, her YA novel, “The Curtain Twitchers of Oakley Place,” the story of a
A homeless teen named Barney Lumsden was released globally. Since publication,
she has donated all the royalties from sales to Homeless Charities in the UK, USA
and globally, making a difference in the lives of Homeless people worldwide.
