Au-dessus de la mer

Hello everyone, my name is Yasemin Eycan. I am 27 years old and a writer. I like to write my ideas and to put them into videos, which I publish on my YouTube Channel Eycan Entertainment. The most coolest thing about this YouTube channel is that it gives me the possibility to make my work public. I had my first big in successes with my two documentaries about Alevism which I shot in alevi village of Erzincan, East Turkey together with myfather. In 2015 and 2016 both of them were shown on the Turkish Television YOL TV. Right now I'm doing my maaster degree in Theater. Film and Media Science in the Goethe University Frankfurt am Main. And I'm also working on my a second book which consist of short stories, that I wrote in German. The book will be published with the help of Story One World. That's a community which supports writers who write fantastic stories or short stories based on the biography in German and English. My future goal is to become well-known screenplay writer and director. My plan is to found a filmproduction company that's called "Eycan Entertainment". After I have maybe achieved that, a dream would become true for me, if I could open and Institute, where I can educate young people who come from worker families of the middle class, but have the dreams to become artists.
I am interested in producing experimental documentaries, but I write mostly stories, that are a mix of things that really happened and my imagination. I am the most inspired by landscapes. I think this is the reason, why I really like to travel.

PS. I have already worked as the second assistant after director in the Western short film "Das Vermächtnis von Lingelcreek" which will be send to the Berlinale. To get more knowledge about how it is to work in a film set I have also worked as a background actress and have co-written the script of "Meine dunkle Seite" which will be published on Amazon Prime video.
