More than a Film Fest, the ATTIC is a gathering of filmmakers, producers, actors, directors, writers and audiences exploring the art of telling the Christian Gospel story through film.

Each Spring the ATTIC hosts a competitive Film Fest. Judges select and nominate the highest caliber of films to compete for cash awards and additional screenings throughout the ATTIC season. A fun filmmaker dinner opens the fest for networking and fellowship, followed by screenings of the selected films over the course of the next 2 days.

Founded in 2007, we are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization headquartered in Austin, Texas.

The Attic Film Fest provides cash awards in 3 categroies: Judges Awards (selected from a jury of judges from around the world), Board Awards, and the Audience Favorite Award.

Great experience with this festival. They heavily reviewed all the films to make the correct selections. Celebrated and honored the films and the filmmakers as much as they could in two days. Promoted the films on social media and website. Films screened at a beautiful venue in the super cool Austin, TX. Awards dinner, on-camera interviews, timely correspondence and chill atmosphere. Awesome!

We loved being a part of 'The Attic Film Fest. Unfortunately, couldn't make the festival itself as we are based in Australia. However, communication with the festival runners was amazing. I knew what was needed and they made the whole experience enjoyable and exciting. Look forward to sharing more content with festival goers in the years to come.

Incredibly well-organized and hospitable festival. An almost unbeatable venue and the people are even better. Focused on quality rather than quantity or glitz. I look forward to going back!
