At the edge of the earth

This film is a diary, written by a German on a far away small deserted island of Indonesia, during four months there, with only one Indonesian comrade, to collect and hatch sea turtle eggs. The stories are combined with video material and photos of life on the island and the untouched nature there at that time. The German person telling the story is not in the picture, because he was filming, the story is his experience, while filming the Indonesian comrade.

I have worked as an technician for TV productions in Germany 5 years.
After that I have worked as technician and activist for Greenpeace worldwide 10 years.
Since the I have lived on an Indonesian Island 12 years.
I have been working, travelling and experiencing different ways of life all over my lifetime in Africa, Asia, South East Asia, South America and more.
