Director Biography - Rose Sanchez

Rosecary Sanchez Rivas, A.K.A Rose Sanchez, is a proud Puertorrican, who dreams to become one of the most prestigious movie actors, and writers in the film Industry. Her passion consist in introducing a new way of showing and telling stories. She was born in July 21, 1993, in Medical Center of Rio Piedras in Puerto Rico. She lives and desires to work and fulfill the ultimate goal, which is building a big family, and make good history for the kids of your kids. Rose has this tendency of having lucid dreams very ofter. She used to struggle with memories, cause the things she dream, feel incredibly real. It is of good use when she read books though. Rose was raised by separate parents, a loving mother, and a strict father who always gave unconditional love and support, but weren’t wealthy enough to invest in dreams, but survival. In 6th grade, Rose was playing a character in a school play called “Se nos tranco el desperoni”. She had so much fun, she also realized it was the only class she thrived for, every morning, theater. It wasn’t until she was 17 that she started taking small steps into the film industry, landing minimal roles in Puerto Rico, because of the lack of fundings in fine arts for thriving artists in the island. It wasn’t until the end of 2014, when she scored an extra role in “22 Jump street” when she got to say “hi” to Channing Tatum and he replied with a warm smile, genuine, and just human. That day Rose realized, that she TOO can do the thing. In 2015, Rose decided to start writing the book “Imalia”, a fantasy genre saga, yet to be released. In 2017, Rose moved to Jacksonville, Florida. She met key faces of Florida’s filmmakers, and started networking. All her savings, working along the years were invested in her family and art. Once upon a time, Rose said, “just do, even if you have no idea of what to do. But do, chances are; you learn, even if you fail, now you know, you suck at that particular thing, move on to the next, don’t waste your time. Just do what you love.”
Rose Sanchez continues to live on, to bring the world a new way of appreciating motion arts and literacy.
