Ating Himig (Our Hymn)

Aleli, a young aspiring songwriter, takes a day trip to her late father's hometown to mark his first death anniversary. Inspired by the scenic mountain views, she tries to finish the song she has been writing for his father. There she meets a young man, Hugh, who happens to visit the place to take photographs of the stunning views up-close. Shy at first but later on smitten by Hugh's charming personality, Aleli opens up about her having a hard time writing songs since her father passed away. Hugh then offers to help her finish the song and inspires her to write more. With their shared love of music, they form bond. On their way home, Hugh receives a call from his uncle who tells him that he needs to leave immediately for San Marcelino where people are already looking for him. Hugh leaves his number to Aleli. As he walks away, he forgets about the brown envelope he asks Aleli to hold for him. When Aleli is left alone, she opens the brown envelope and discovers something unexpected. The film ends with Aleli flashing a smile, looking into the distance, in the middle of the lahar field, back-dropped by the Zambales canopies and mountains.
