A thousand languages of dance
Over the course of five months, a captivating journey unfolds within the 3rd-grade class of the 132nd Primary School in Athens, where a majority of students are non-native speakers of Greek.
How do children discuss, think, feel and act cooperatively through dance? How do they talk with their bodies? How do they dance with their imagination?
This cinematic portrayal captures poignant moments from this innovative educational endeavor, designed to gift third-grade children their initial encounter with self-expression. The film delves into the process by which these children forge heightened self-assurance and foster a deep appreciation for diversity through the medium of dance and the language of the body, transcending the limitations of verbal communication.
