A journalist by profession, a filmmaker at heart. Been associated with broadcast journalism for more than 15 years. Mainly based in Pakistan but been reporting events from many major metropolis around the world.

Director Statement

The farmers of Okara, a small town situated in the province of Punjab are a group of unfortunate farmers who have been working on these lands as a peasants for generations but don't own the property. They are sometimes deprived of their basic right to own what they work for. This story is about their struggle to end this injustice, how they fight against a mighty state and loose mostly and pay the cost even by losing their lives.
