Ana Catarina Forte (Ourém, 1999) always felt artistically inclined towards music and photography. In 2018, by entering in the Bachelor of Sound and Image, she was captivated with the subject of video by learning how to edit a video and use various software programs. Along the way, her interest for directing increased everyday. This final project is her debut in this department and in post-production alongside her friend and colleague Marta Jesus.
In the future, she hopes to have the opportunity to use the tools and knowledge acquired throughout the three years at Art School.
The taste for cinema has been growing in Ana Marta Jesus (Porto, 2000) since she started her studies in Sound and Image. In terms of direction, she is inspired by directors such as Greta
Gerwig and Céline Sciamma. Her visual perspective for photography has always been developed. Especially since she has been in contact with film photography; she feels that her
aesthetic and language capacity has been her focus and passion. She also dedicated herself with the same spirit to this short film. She wants the viewer to feel that film is a journey through what we see and feel. She embarked on this adventure as a challenge and a way to get out of her comfort zone alongside Ana Forte.
