AT WAR WITH THE EARTH
Beautiful cinematic images of nature and the menacing human impact on it have become empty and ineffective clichés. The film At War With the Earth takes a different approach. It is the first adaptation of a philosophical concept - evolutionary ontology - synthesizing knowledge from many scientific disciplines. The film reveals that the conflict between nature/biosphere, and culture/technosphere is caused by a fundamental difference between the internal information that drives both the evolution of the biosphere and the evolution of culture. The filmmakers have prepared methodological materials for schools and initiated a program of teaching the basic ideas presented in the film.

The state of the biosphere on our planet is deteriorating. People are threatening their own existence. Human culture/civilization needs a radical change, a new vision of its future. This can be provided by a new philosophy – evolutionary ontology. Prof. Josef Šmajs from Masaryk University in Brno explains the essence of his original concept in the film. He also introduces the legal anchoring of the necessary change – the Constitution for the Earth. The filmmakers have prepared methodological materials for teaching the basic ideas presented in the film and have held the first workshops at schools..
