Director Biography - Edgar Osvaldo Ibarez

Edgar O. Ibarez is a film student working on building a portfolio of shorts before graduating. He has been writing stories and screenplays since he was 10, and has made several shorts throughout his childhood that were lost after the move from Chicago to Rockford. A creative, introverted person, Edgar loves gothic horror, drama, and science fiction. He is always willing to look at everything with an open mind and continues to grow his knowledge on the entertainment industry.

Director Statement

"At the Bottom" was made with the intention to look at my own mind and insecurities through the lens of another character. Depression and suicide has been a part of my own life, as I have lost a lot of people to them and almost lost myself. This film is a form of therapy and hopefully a form of awareness as well.
