At Home
A family who refused to go out during the pandemic.
Despite the Indonesian government gradually easing COVID-related restrictions, and most people have been going out to public places, everyone in this household (the comorbid parents, the daughter, the housekeeper, and even the pets) does everything from home.
They even do more than the standard health precautions that the government suggested, namely washing and reheating everything that comes into the home, and never going out unless it's a medical emergency.
Despite everything this family tries to be physically and mentally healthy by staying active and keeping a positive mindset.

Darang Melati is a Documentary filmmaker born in Banda Aceh, the city that is damaged the most by the Tsunami in 2004. Her experience as a tsunami victim makes her very sensitive toward issues within the societies which is why she started a career in the documentary field. Her first movie titled 'Hikayat dari Ujung Pesisir' Won the most favourite film at Eagle Award Metro TV. Her contribution in the documentary worlds documentary career helps her to get a full scholarship from Indonesian Government to pursue Master's Degree.
Winnie Tjahjana was the producer for 'Masak Apa Hari Ini? (What to Cook Today?)' a series of short cooking tutorial videos produced to promote Unilever Indonesia's food seasoning products. When she left the commercial video-making world to work fully remotely from home due to family circumstances she thinks that she will have to forget video-making for a while. Until somehow she encounters Darang in the scholarship alumni association. Darang convinces Winnie that her life story is worth telling, and with her experiences, they might be able to create a documentary albeit with many limitations ( i.e. no professional crew can come and help the filming process).
Together, through this film 'At Home' Darang and Winnie try to do what both of them have never done before. Darang directed without being present on location, and Winnie filmed her family without any professional crew or equipment.
This film is made based on a true story. The production process is done by the subject (co-director) herself. The situation within the film is the daily activities of the subjects that may look like simple ordinary activities at home. But behind that, there is a significantly different between the subjects' daily life compared to most people in Indonesia who thinks that the pandemic is no longer a scary thing. Yet for the family filmed in this movie, the pandemic is not over yet, thus hefty precautions are necessary.
Thus the daily life that the subjects perceive as their normal ordinary life is definitely not normal for the outsider. Especially because this family "At Home" is not out and mingles with society to avoid the virus that continues to mutate.
