Director Statement

In creating Asteroid Season, I used a mix of traditional and digital art to give the film a painted storybook quality. My mission was to encapsulate the appeal of an upbeat fantasy epic within the framework of a short, action driven narrative. Asteroid Season speaks to both children and adults, drawing on themes of cataclysmic environmental upheaval, and the universal need for friendship.
