Yusrah Khan is a filmmaker based in Miami, FL. After being a production assistant on students films and local commercials, she wrote, directed, and co-produced her debut short film, Asking For It.

Director Statement

Asking for it, is about the tough subject of sexual harassment and rape. The idea for the project came about when a scandal in my community occurred. The aftermath left me in shock, when the victims were treated like the predators and the predator was treated like the victim. Despite the new era we have entered, we as a whole still have a long way to go. I hope my small film will connect with people and inspire a little more change.
