Art of the Eighth follows the forgotten path of 200,000 American air force personnel serving in England during World War 2.

Many airmen turned to art - drawn on the walls of barracks, canteens, block rooms. Some were expansive murals, some were simple drawings and lists of names and missions.

Spectacular archive, extraordinary cinematography and interviews with the people that were there, tell their forgotten stories, find their families and set the images in their historical context.
