Director Biography - Tisha Griffith

Tisha Griffith is a Playwright and Filmmaker from Dayton Ohio. She has written seven original stage plays, one Documentary titled " Black Girl Magic and one Short Film titled " Turning Tables". She recently completed her long awaited Web Series titled "Around the Way Girls" filmed in Los Angeles California in 2019.

Director Statement

Majority of my projects have a very serious undertone to them. In making Around the Way Girls, we just had fun. This was my very first project collaborating with others writers. I wanted to highlight the friendship as a whole but also focusing on each individual woman and her seperate life outside the friendship. It has always been my dream to shoot a film in Los Angeles, so this project is a dream come true for me. Although my primary cast is in L.A, it was a blessing for me to take my supporting cast, which are my Ohio actors to California. Around the Way Girls Webseries Season 1 has 6 episodes. I hope you enjoy Season 1 as much as we enjoyed creating and filming it.
