Originally from Tampa, Florida, Arken Wheeler is a writer, filmmaker, and teacher. Their current goal is to gain the representation required to sell screenplays to production companies and direct select indie projects. As the creator of The Underground, a Steampunk fantasy crime drama series that has been in development with Buffalo 8 Productions, Arken also has a curated arsenal of scripts ready for production, including one other drama series pilot, one dark comedy sitcom pilot, and three additional feature screenplays. Arken ghost wrote an autobiographical story for an influential CEO client in Hong Kong, chosen to be published in #myvoice: A Collective Memoir By Women Of Substance From Around the World. When not creating storied universes, Arken loves playing blues harmonica, meditating, and uncovering the censored history of our world. He is a former US soldier who has spent time living on the streets in the US and Australia.
