Director Statement

Arise is my first short film, and I went into the project knowing that I wanted to create a dramatic story about a boy in the middle of nowhere rural Texas. As a person who's lived my entire life on the east coast, I had never realized how beautiful the Texas landscape could be. I knew I had to take advantage of the beautiful setting around me.
