Aris Athanasopoulos is a Toronto based filmmaker.

His latest feature screenplay, Adelphia, was a 2022 ScreenCraft Feature Competition Quarterfinalist. Aris is currently developing an hour-long supernatural TV series with Chemically Altered Productions and veteran showrunner, Thania St. John (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Crisis Centre, Roswell).

Aris founded Goodnight Porter Pictures in 2015. "Lloyd Loses Everything" (short film) premiered at the 2020 Eastern Oregon Film Festival and was an official selection at the Pendance Film Festival in 2021. "Parkdale” (short film) was an official selection at the 2018 Edmonton International Film Festival and a finalist for the 2018 Black Maria Film Festival. "A.O.K" (short film) was an official selection at the Canadian Film Fest in 2017 and is currently up on the National Screen Institute of Canada's website.

Aris is a graduate of York University’s Acting Conservatory.
