The Architecture Design Art Film Festival is presented by The American Documentary Film Festival and presented typically during Modernism Week and was founded in 2017. The mission of the festival is to foster understanding and engage audiences, industry and decision-makers in architecture, design and the arts. With a view to urban and residential planning, the Architecture Design Art Film Festival (ADAFF) aims to build awareness and encourage alternative forms of design as well as retention by resuscitating historically significant creations.

Architecture Design Art Film Festival (ADAFF) aims to create an atmosphere and opportunity for both creators and admirers of the arts to gather in an amazing setting where the essence of architecture, design and the arts is appreciated and fostered.

While we are open to any works related to these fields of creativity, please note that we require films that have good clean sound as well as focused picture. Date of production is not relevant, though we are always excited to discover new works about the creative process. Retrospective and reprisal screenings in the Palm Springs area are accepted. A special emphasis will be placed on finding works of design related to modern architecture and the components and lifestyle that are mutually linked. If invited, please note that if your work is currently on the web on services such as free youtube or vimeo, it is required that the work be pulled from the web until after the end of the festival.

Please make certain that when submitting you note your tracking number on all relevant materials, i.e., shipping envelope and disc(s). Also, each disc must have the contact information of the submitter. The festival is not responsible for returning submitted materials. We do not dispose of submitted material, it will remain in our festival archives unless instructed otherwise.
