Aram (Rasp)

A goon who ruled a local market humiliates two young men who came to find a living, which ignites a string of events that eventually became the question of survival, power and hierarchy. It shows the animalistic hierarchy system that remain in humanity, where the smart, strong and wealthy rules.

Human beings are strange creatures. We can't understand anything in them by looks, human mind is so complex and twisted. One may look calm and quiet in open but deep in he might be dark. I wanted to do a film that shows the human nature and behavior that's deep in them. I also want to show we are still the wildlings deep inside. The most powerful, cunning and wealthy rules us, it has always been the same, not any of the most compassionate, selfless and merciful have done it.

The story of Aram(Rasp) takes place in a local market. It is a place where people of very strange and different behavior come in contact, and conflict too. I have also witnessed in our locality that markets are being controlled by a single person. Who makes the market for his own rules and gain. Seeing all this, I wished to make a film regarding this ever penalizing nature of mankind, the act of monarchy and its hierarchy, and it is infectious. That's ARAM.
