I am a Sydney based artist, born in New Zealand and moving to Australia as a young adult. After undertaking a number of national and international short art courses in disciplines such as photography, painting and metalwork sculpture, I decided to study fine arts full time. I was awarded a BFA (Hons) from the University of New South Wales in 2021 and am currently completing studying towards a MFA at the School of Art, Design & Architecture, UNSW (due to complete in May 2025. Beautiful Vulnerability is the primary element of my artwork submitted towards my MFA (Research).
My very early career saw me work in film and video areas, my career then took an unexpected turn towards the study and practice of law. During my legal career I continued to develop my artistic interests, initially through photography then painting, while also experimenting in other artistic disciplines. My current practice is in expanded video, sculpture, installations and painting with these disciplines often intersecting.
