Director Statement

The film explores the relationship between man and faith and science. The narration is developed structurally and aesthetically on two poles, one for each subject. In Symi, a Greek island with incredible natural beauty is the pole for the faith and in the absolute urban landscape of New York the pole for science. Filming began in 2018. In March 2020, the pandemic era seems to be interrupting the exploration journey. But life goes on "locked down" or NOT. The decision to going out every day filming empty New York looks like a risky reaction to the global, pause of human activity. But this decision leads the film to a path of emotions and thoughts beyond philosophical pursuits. The questions about faith and knowledge, randomness and destiny, take answers that starts with "perhaps". When the personal stories give shape to the big story all questions and fears find their answers on two words "human touch" and "together".
