Another day in Buenoseres
In an unusual bar on an unknown planet, filled with unlikely characters, power takes on new meaning. Widow, a dark and seductive force, performs to her sparse crowd of undesirable clientele. Enter Gus, a 'company man' and the fastest draw this side of the system. Gus is on the hunt for the last target on his contract, but in this world of dark deeds, shady characters and supernatural assassins all but the best laid plans go awry. Widow and Gus engage in a charged back and forth setting in motion the events that will lead him to his man. Competing powers, insidious plans and a devil pulling the strings. But, in Buenoseres.... It's just another day.

Born in Reading and moved to study film in Bristol. This is my debut film to showcase the creativity that drove me to be part of the world of film.
Another day in Buenoseres is my take on an alternative western narrative. My goal when writing has always been to use my unique experiences growing up in a diverse country to mixed race parents, to inspire new worlds. I set out to create a story where the diverse characters weren't constrained to our history of the wild west, using the Sci-fi genre to facilitate this change. Combining classic western storytelling with diverse characters/cast, a modern but classically inspired soundtrack, we were able to create a world that is familiar but fresh and revitalised.
