Hugo Obregón started shooting fiction at age 15 and did eight short fiction films before moving to the United States in 1991, where he shot three 16mm short films and studied Film at Boston University. In 1996 he shot December Sea, a drama on video with amateur actors in his hometown. In 1998 he received a Masters in Film Direction at the Escuela de Artes Visuales, Madrid, and shot short films on 16mm and video. Around that time he also shot feature documentaries on video and the endless chronicle of an unrequited love among his stoner gang of friends.
He has worked as a translator and has done videos for companies for years.
Manuel Álvarez-Diestro is a visual artist from Spain currently living in Seoul, South Korea. For the previous two decades he has lived in California, Paris, Boston, San Francisco, New York, Casablanca, Algiers, Beirut, Cairo, where and London.
In his work he explores city landscapes around the world with the objective of revitalizing through photography and film our visual appreciation of the contemporary city and how it relates to our human condition.
His work has been published in numerous architecture magazines and exhibited in different international art venues.
He holds an Art History degree from Boston University, Massachusetts.
