Writer Biography - Ingrid Lopes Gomes Rodrigues

My name is Ingrid Rodrigues and I’m a filmmaker and a writer from Guaraciaba, Brazil. I studied Cinema at FAAP and graduated last year. I also studied Assistant Directoring at AIC. In 2019, I did the Production Design of “A Sentença” (2020), directed by Laura Coggiola, and I was 1st Assistant Director of “O Andar de Cima” (2020), directed by Tomás Fernandes. In 2020, I worked for the assemblyman Julio Simbra as social media manager during the elections. These activities gave me experience with organization, time management and teamwork.
Over the past year, I’ve invested in my writer career as well and I’d like to invite you to read my tales at Amazon.com. "Anna and the Cat" is the tragedy of a woman's mind against her Self. She has lost her identity which leads her through a self destructive path. Imagination is one's best friend and helper, but also one's worst enemy. I hope "Anna and the Cat" can make us all reflect about our future and look kindly to those around us. After all, for how long will sanity be by our side?
