Anna Fotiadou is a multidisciplinary artist with specialisation in multimedia performance, video art and direction. She studied Graphic Design and Fine Arts and holds a master’s degree in Performance Design & Practice with a practice in ‘Post-modern multimedia performance and video art’.
Anna has been working as a director of video art, theatre and performance for several years now and has worked in cinema as a screenwriter and art director. She has presented her artwork in exhibitions, festivals and biennials in various countries and has been distinguished for her work with awards.
Her first short film entitled “Drained” (Cyprus, USA 2021), explores issues of femininity, abandonment and revenge through a contemporary reenactment of the multidimensional story of Clytemnestra. [https://carettafilms.com.cy/drained/]
