Ankit is an independent filmmaker and writer.

He was born in New Delhi, India. He earned his bachelor's and master's in computer science but followed his passion for filmmaking. He is a self-taught filmmaker. He has produced, written, and directed three short films, Roaches (2016), Go Grow (2016), and The Treachery of Movies (2020). As a writer and director, his debut feature-length film is Liberation (2022).
