Anita Daswani has a growing list of credits on stage, TV and film. As an actor, writer and filmmaker she gravitates towards artistic subjects that promote social change and influence the general public to become pioneers of their own communities. Prominent themes of her work have included: domestic violence awareness/prevention, support for LGBTQIA youth, and mental health—the focal point of her most recently produced short film, The Missed. After graduating with honors from a well-renowned theater program in North Carolina, Anita started her professional career in New York City, starring in Off-Off-Broadway productions, which eventually led to earning her place in the Actors' Equity Association. In addition, her growing experience in front of the camera led to SAG-AFTRA eligibility. As she embarks on each creative venture, she continues to hone her craft advancing in both worlds—theater and TV/film.
