Visegrad Animation Workshop is a yearly meeting of the best graduating animation students in the region. The 5-day meeting is organised by Anilogue International Animation Festival, in cooperation with METU, FAMU, VSMU, Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts, and promoted by partner festivals Fest Anca and PAF.

Best films receive online distribution, are screened on Anilogue and partner festivals. The winning authors are invited to participate at Anilogue Visegrad Animation Workshop in November 2019. Up to four films are selected and granted an award of 1000 EUR each.

Objective: To support production of short animated films; online distribution of the awarded films.
Eligible applicants: The call for short animated film projects is open to currently enrolled animation students in the Visegrad region: Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic and Poland.
Eligible projects: Visegrad Animation Workshop is looking for short animated film projects that deal with topics important to young people living in the region. Projects must be the own creation of the applicant. Projects must be completed and available/suitable for online distribution by organisers. Ideal length of films: 1 minute.
The organisers reserve the right to withhold awards if submissions are not deemed suitable for the program.
