The International Jury of the AniFestROZAFA2023 festival will be established in cooperation with the European Children's Film Association ECFA
The evaluation of the artistic values will be done by an international jury and by a special jury consisting of 23 children aged 8-12 years.
In the selection, the winning film "ECFA Award" will be announced, which will go as a competitor to the BERLIN festival in February 2024.
Films to compete in the 14th edition of the International Film Festival for Children and Teenagers must have been produced after June 1, 2021.

1. THE GENERAL CONDITIONS
The films will be registered as part of the competition only if they are compatible with all the criteria and requirements provided in the statute of the Festival, which includes the regulation and the application form.

2. THE GENERAL CRITERIA
_ Films that violate human rights, especially children’s rights as defined by the Convention of Human Rights and the Convention of Children’s Rights, will not be accepted.
_ The competing film must be in the format to be shown in cinemas 1920X1080 (MP4 full HD).
_ The films that will compete in the 14th edition International Film Festival for Children and Teenagers must have been produced after June 1, 2021.
_ The films can compete only in the categories specified in the regulation.

2/1. SPECIAL CONDITIONS FOR PROFESSIONAL APPLICANTS.
_ The short film should not be longer than 30 minutes
_ The copy of the film selected for the competition must be sent online, via wetransfer.com (address: artanmaku@anifestrozafa.al)
_All the materials that will be sent for selection, will not be returned to the applicant but will be part of the Festival’s Archive.

4. THE PROGRAM AND CRITERIA
a Short film for children. Ages 3 to 10 years old
Short film for teenagers. Age 10 to 12 years old
c - Animated Short Film by Students
In the special session, there will be a presentation of films from partner festivals.

5. APPLICATION FORM
_ The applicant must send the following materials attached to the application request:
a) Applicants will fill in the application form in English.
b) A photo of the Film’s Director (a minimum of 300 dpi in jpg format.) – online
c) Photos of the film, at least three copies (a minimum of 300 dpi of JPG format) - online
d) A short synopsis of the film, up to 500 characters in English - on-line
e) English dialogue list (SRT) - on-line
The selected films will be used according to the law, for cultural and educational purposes, but not for commercial purposes. The showing of films for children will be free.

7. ACCOMMODATION
The festival will cover hotel accommodation for 2 days and accreditation, the one. director or producer of the film, that, is selected for the final night
Organizers of the festival "AniFest2022" don’t cover financially :
a - All travel spending.
b - When the filmmaker wants to stay all days of the festival...
c - When the director of the film is accompanied by another person, accommodation costs, are covered by the person himself.
The festival’s organizers can make exceptions or facilitation according to some specific cases. )

8 . PROMOTION
After a film has been an official selection, the filmmaker will be notified, and eventually, the film will be listed on the festival website under Official Selections. It means that your film has been appreciated by our judges on the panel and you can use the festival logo on your poster.
The film that will be announced as the winner of the "ECFA Award" will be released as a competitor at the BERLIN festival in February 2024.

9 . CLOSURE DISPOSITIONS
1. The organizers can make individual exceptions to the conditions specified in this regulation, but not favor and provide advantages to every candidate for no reason. Organizers have the right to make changes to the competition rules or points 7 - 8 of the regulation, but they must notify via the website: www.anifestrozafa.org
2. These are subject to the laws of the Republic of Albania and all competitions related to them will be selected by the courts following Albanian Law.
3. From the moment of submitting the request for participation in the AniFest “ROZAFA2023” Festival, the participant must accept the regulations of the European Festival Competition. You are responsible for periodically checking for updates on these Rules and terms.
