Angry Young Muslims

Angry Young Muslims is a show at its heart, simply about coming of age in the post 9/11 world. Growing up in today's world differs greatly from the prosperity of the last twenty-five years. Instead, international politics is at the forefront of every young individual. It follows a group of high school aged Pakistani Canadians as they deal with being Muslim in an era unbeknownst to them are being feared and thought up as the 'enemy'. While struggling with what's cool to wear, they have to prove that they are not in fact terrorists.
Angry Young Muslims is a show about firsts; firsts loves, firsts breakups, and firsts acts of independence.
