Director Statement

The angry old woman, standing resolute on her balcony, personifies the frustrations and regrets that can simmer within a human soul over time. Her seemingly unending rage reflects our collective frustrations with the world we inhabit today.

The younger generation has numerous people to talk to, they work, they party, and they drink. However, we live in a society where we often fail to notice the old lady's cry for help or be bothered by what happens next door, as long as we feel safe inside our own doors.

The old lady and her mental illness are a result of the fast-paced city life and the stress and loneliness it brings. Though these youngsters may appear happy now, who knows how they will fare mentally as they age.
