Angélique Georges is an independent French-Australian Director and an Emmy Award winning Graphic Artist based in Brooklyn, New York. She is a co-founder of graphics house, Alterkind, and a master of merging traditional set design, prop styling and hand-made elements with the digital sorcery of VFX and Animation.
Angélique grew up on Australia's East Coast and was drawn to making art from a young age, eventually studying Fine Art and Film Production at university in Melbourne. In 2013, she arrived in New York City and immediately began working at Zero Point Zero Productions (Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown, In The Mind Of A Chef, Somebody Feed Phil). Four years later she became an independent graphic artist, working on various feature documentary, commercial and television productions. In 2017 she won an Emmy award for Best Main Title and Graphic Design and in 2019 she spoke at the IFC Craft-Ed Seminar on Documentary Post Production.
Nine Miles is her directorial debut and her work will continue to explore the sometimes bizarre nature of life with a human touch.
