ANGELA HANNA GOULENE is a French writer, director, and illustrator based in Montreal, Quebec. She wrote her first novel, Situations, when she was only 14 years old. Since then, Angela’s written a dozen short stories, 100 pages of poetry, pitch decks, short films, scripts and multiple songs.
Her short story Jack and her poem Makeup have both been published in the literary magazine Montreal Writes. Her novel Situations and her short story A Second Chance were both selected as quarterfinalists for the 2019 Screencraft Cinematic Book and Short Story Competition. Angela's also worked on the preshool series The Game Catchers, produced by Sardine Productions Inc. She was a screenwriter for Flyos Games, where she worked on the Vampire: The Masquerade IP.
She's starred in Not Another Serial Killer, a short film which she's also written and co-directed. Not Another Serial Killer was selected out of 200+ projects to be produced by the Kino Kabaret of 2021. It was also selected to the Fantasia International Film Festival.
Furthermore, Angela is the creator of an untitled bridge animated series in development with Global Mechanic Media, where she's set to be the primary writer and showrunner of the series. She has been selected to the following writing and filmmaking programs: Kino Kabaret, BIPOC Showrunner Bootcamp, Banff Netflix Diversity of Voices and WGC Script of the Month.
She also works as a full-time Production Coordinator at Playstation Visual Arts, in the Cinematics department. She's also a writer on an unannounced Epic Story Media preschool animated series.
