Director Biography - Hanna Uselding

Multidiciplinary artist Hanna Uselding was born in Seattle, Washington and currently lives a nomadic lifestyle. At age 19, and after a year of pursuing acting in Los Angeles, Hanna decided to try something different. The hope was to see if there was a way to make movies and get on stage while still exposing herself to new cultures and gaining skills unrelated to her artistic pursuits. This led her to positioning her tripod in places like goat pastures, bows of ships, desert dunes, at the like. Now at 23, she picks up and moves every season (or so) and hunkers down in her makeshift living situation to make her art, meet the locals, find work, and of course scope out the acting scene!

Director Statement

This video is representative of 5 months of my life spent in the mountains of Colorado. I want it to feel like a film mixed with the personality and honesty of a real-life documentation of my experience.
