Lloyd Barnett is struggling to find normalcy in day to day life as he cares for one of his adult daughters, Andrea, following a traumatic accident one year earlier. Andrea is never the same day to day and requires a level of patience few seem to possess. But what happened in the accident is hard to look beyond for both Lloyd and Amy and emotions come to a boiling point as Andrea questions her place within the family.

David Dalasta is a senior producer with FiveSix Productions based out of Las Vegas, NV. He started working in video and film in 2002 and has explored a number of different roles in that time including producer, videographer, sound recordist and video editor. At FiveSix Productions he helps head up productions in the corporate/commercial area and has put together hundreds of videos in the last decade. Andrea is his first film as a director.
I’ve been working with FiveSix Productions for ten years and in that time we’ve put together some exciting and high quality videos. But our projects were always for clients, for other people and not for us. As the company grew we started acquiring some really nice, high end equipment and we always told ourselves that we could and should make a movie. That went on for awhile but scheduling, time and life all never aligned to make it a reality. Finally, last year, we said let’s do this no matter our schedules and so we sat down and wrote Andrea. At the end of filming, we all simply looked at each other and said, “we should have done this a long time ago.” I hope you enjoy our first short film.
