Director Biography - Sergio R. Zaurín

SERGIO R. ZAURIN is a film director who has worked for different TV networks. He has directed video clips for rock bands and directed and produced “Rockumentaries” (music documentaries).

His short films have been broadcasted by TVE International; and have been selected in several international film festivals, the latest “Analogic” (2020) is about the loss of human connection in the digital era. In 2012 he completed his second rockumentary titled PINKFONIK, which is 56 minutes long and was nominated at the Festival International du Film Sur L'art Montreal, Canada, Golden Beggar Award - International Festival, Slovakia, Jecheon International Music and Film Festival, South Korea as well as being awarded as the Best Fine Arts Movie by the XXIX Black International Cinema Berlin, Germany.

At the moment Zaurin works as a script consultant in several films projects and the developmental process of a new musical documentary about the Cruz-Diez Symphony Orchestra in Madrid, Spain.
